Fish and chip van hire, fried fresh on the day

Fish and chip van hire means the chip shop comes to you. We park the van at your venue, home or workplace, heat the fryers and cook to order, so every portion goes out hot and crisp rather than sitting in a tray.

It suits almost any occasion: a wedding evening, a birthday in the garden, a staff day, a school fair or a quiet gathering after a funeral. Everyone knows and likes fish and chips, and the queue at the hatch is part of the fun.

How it works

  1. You tell us the date, the address or venue, roughly how many people and when you’d like to eat.
  2. We check the date and the space for the van, then send a quote.
  3. On the day we arrive in good time, set the van up and heat the fryers.
  4. We fry to order and serve from the hatch at the agreed time.
  5. When service is finished, we pack up and leave the pitch tidy.

What we need at the venue

A fish and chip van needs a level, firm spot it can drive onto, with enough room around it for a queue and safe access. Tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote, including gates, narrow lanes, soft ground and any height limits, and we’ll check it works.

Dietary needs

Tell us about dietary needs and allergies when you enquire, and we’ll tell you honestly what we can offer. Our fish is battered, and batter is usually made with wheat flour, so it contains gluten. Read our guide to allergens at events.
