Mobile Fish and Chip Van
Corporate fish and chip catering
A fish and chip van in the car park or yard: a staff treat everyone understands, served hot from the hatch during the lunch break.
- Staff thank-you lunches
- Summer team days
- Warehouse, depot and site teams
Corporate fish and chip catering, fried fresh on the day
A chip van lunch is one of the simplest ways to say thank you to a team. It needs no kitchen and no room booking, it suits office staff, drivers, warehouse teams and site crews alike, and people still talk about it the following week.
We serve staff lunches, team days, open days and customer events at offices, depots, business parks and hired venues. We plan the timing around your breaks and shifts, and we’ll work with your facilities team on access, parking and anything the site needs from us.

How it works
- You tell us the date, the site, roughly how many people and your break times.
- We check access and send a quote, with anything your site needs from us.
- We agree where the van parks and when it arrives with you or your facilities team.
- On the day we set up and fry to order through the agreed service time.
- We pack up and leave the space as we found it.
Sites and paperwork
Many offices, depots and venues ask outside caterers for documents before an event. Tell us what your site needs when you enquire and we’ll confirm what we can provide.
Shifts and short breaks
If your team works shifts or has short breaks, tell us the times. We’ll plan service so each group can be fed within its break.

A fish and chip van compared with other event catering
| Option | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Fish and chip van | Fried to order and served hot; a menu almost everyone likes; no kitchen needed | Needs a level, firm spot the van can reach |
| Hog roast | Popular for big outdoor events | One main dish; harder for guests who don’t eat pork |
| Barbecue | Casual and familiar | Food comes off in batches; someone has to cook it |
| Cold buffet | Simple; no vehicle access needed | Food sits out; nothing hot on a cold evening |
| Plated meal | Formal and traditional | Needs a kitchen, more staff and usually costs more per head |
What your quote should include
- What’s on the menu, and how many choices
- How long service runs, and what happens if you overrun
- Any minimum charge
- Travel, parking and any charges such as ULEZ
- Whether VAT is included
- What the van needs: space, access, power
- How allergens are handled
Corporate fish and chip catering: questions
Can you feed staff across different shifts?
Tell us the shift and break times and we’ll plan service around them.
Can you park in our car park or yard?

Can you invoice the company?
Ask us when you enquire and we’ll explain how booking and payment work.
Do you cater customer events and open days?
Yes. A fish and chip van gives visitors something to queue for and talk about.
Where do you take the van?
Across London and the South East: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight. Find your area.
